Complete and Versatile Solution
The SSW7000 solid state soft-starter is a static starter that allows the starting, stopping, control and protection of medium voltage three-phase induction motors. The control of the voltage applied to the motor by means of phase angle control allows for controlled starting and stopping electric motors. Reduction of inrush current reduces impacts on the electrical network during starting (helps reduce voltage drop) and torque control limits mechanical stresses to the motor, couplings and driven equipment during acceleration.

6 starting modes via FTC - Flexible Torque Control. Developed by WEG using principles applied to frequency converters, FTC uses the vector control to provide a user-adjustable linear speed ramp according to the load type applied to the motor.

Plug & Play Philosophy

Human Machine Interface - HMI
Navigation is similar to the logic used in cell phones, with the option of sequential access the groups (Menu) by means of the function access keys on the display (soft keys). It is also possible to install a multi-language touch screen HMI.
